X-Times: Career Options

This special issue of X-Times Magazine features healthcare professionals who discuss why each chose his or her career, educational requirements needed to obtain the job, and day-to-day responsibilities. Individuals interviewed include a surgeon, an rtist, ann environmental safety specialist, a pharmacy technician, an author, an epidemiologist, a lawyer, and a neurologist.

This magazine is a component of the HIV/AIDS and Microbes teaching units. It may also be used as a stand-alone reading/language arts activity.

X-Times Magazine, Volume 2, is most appropriate for use with students in grades 5–10.
